What are your rates?
Rather than having the typical and standard “cookie cutter” rates as most corporate bands/orchestras do, we customize our rates to each individual event and can offer options for various budgets. Every event has different variables that must be considered. Please visit our contact page and fill out our form CLICK HERE to help us learn about your event! We then will contact you via phone to discuss your event. You deserve personal attention for the most important day of your lives!
What are your options?
We provide soloists, duos, trios, quartets, 5 pieces, 6 pieces, 7 pieces, 8 pieces, 9 pieces, 10 pieces, 11 pieces, & 12 pieces, 13 pieces, and 14 pieces in our band/orchestra. If you would like more than 14 pieces, please contact us directly to discuss. We also provide different formations of our group within different locations at the same event! After hearing about your event and what you are looking for, we will customize our options based on your needs.
Can you provide ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner music, and dance music for a wedding?
Yes, absolutely we can provide music for ALL these facets of a wedding.
Can you provide emceeing and/or act as the master of ceremonies for any event?
Yes, we act as the master of ceremonies as needed for any and all events. We emcee, making all necessary announcements and facilitate presentations, toasts, and other needed facets for events.
Can you provide coordination for a wedding?
Absolutely, we are one of the only groups in the nation capable of taking care of full coordination as well as providing the entertainment. In fact, we’ve been hired by professional wedding coordinators to take care of the coordination and entertainment for their own personal weddings!
Can you provide sound production for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, & dancing portion of a wedding?
Can we see you perform at a wedding, corporate event, or private event?
100% of our focus at your wedding, corporate event, or private event is on you and your guests. If other wedding bands/orchestras invite potential clients to your wedding or event, these wedding groups are concerned with self promotion rather than you and your guests. YOU ARE ALWAYS OUR #1 PRIORITY!
It is highly unprofessional for another group to even ask you if it is okay to invite potential clients to attend your wedding or event. This places you in an awkward and uncomfortable position.
Lastly, if any band/orchestra invites you to a wedding or event, undoubtedly they will ask complete strangers to crash your wedding or event!
Rest assured, we will not allow any strangers to attend your wedding or event!

What do you typically wear for weddings or corporate events??
We dress formally or casually as requested. Some clients request formal wear, and other clients request casual wear, so we are flexible in this regard.
How many weddings do you perform per year?
We typically perform for over 100 weddings per year.
How many corporate events do you perform for per year?
We typically perform for over 200 corporate corporate events per year.
How would you describe your style? Do you have a specialty?
Our style is all about you! We are fully capable of performing a wide variety of music, and we utilize our skills to customize your wedding or event to what you and your guests will enjoy. Our specialty truly is versatility.
Does your band/orchestra use backing tracks?
We only use live music within our band/orchestra! Our music is pure, authentic, & real from our musicians. You deserve REAL music. A band that uses backing tracks is essentially a glorified DJ. If you go with us, you get the real thing.
Do you provide lighting?
Yes, we absolutely we provide lighting!
Do you have liability insurance?
Do you require a stage for your performances?
No, we do not require a stage for our performances. However, we prefer to perform on a stage whenever possible because it looks highly professional and it’s aesthetically pleasing.
Do you require a certain amount of square footage for your performance area?
We can accommodate very small to very large spaces! We have options & equipment that works for all venues!

Will you check out the space before you perform there?

Will you accept a “do not play” list of music?
Yes, we accept a “do not play” list of music. However, it isn’t necessary for us to receive this since we will only play your requested songs. In other words, you will hear every song that you want and you won’t hear even 1 song that you don’t want! 🙂
How many breaks do you take?
There are no breaks, as we provide continous music!
How do you ensure a comfortable sound level for all of our guests?
Can you learn and perform special requests?
Yes, absolutely we can learn and perform your special requests!
How many hours are included in your packages?
Since we customize our packages for each individual event, the hours included vary.
Corporate events are typically 3 to 4 hours long.
Weddings are typically 5 and a half hours to 7 hours long.
What is your group name, Ring Of Music Band & Orchestra or Matt Stedman Band & Orchestra?
For corporate events and private events, our name is Ring Of Music. For weddings, our name is Ring Of Music Band & Orchestra.
Years ago, our name was Matt Stedman Band & Ring Of Music Orchestra for all events, but we shortened our name because we felt it was too long.
We have always been, we are, and we always will be one organization/group of musicians.
Who is Matt Stedman, and what is his role?
Matt Stedman, is the owner of Ring Of Music. His role is to provide an overview of Ring of Music to prospective and current clients. He oversees the complete operation of the group.
Why is there a management team and how is this advantageous to us?
Our management team communicates with you, handling all the details and aspects of your wedding or event. All of these details are communicated to our emcees and musicians, and this plan is comes to fruition onsite. This allows for the smoothest and most efficient flow within our group to provide you with highest quality in service. In other words, our owner (Matt Stedman), our management team, and our emcees and musicians figuratively and literally work in perfect harmony to create greatness of epic proportions for your event!
What happens if one of your musicians falls ill or can’t make it on the day of our event?
Do you provide multiple musicians for multiple events in the same day?
Yes, we absolutely provide musicians for multiple events in the same day! For instance, we may be contracted to have our 7 piece group perform for a wedding reception, and then another couple inquires about having our solo pianist for their cocktail hour at their wedding. We would then easily provide this client with one of our talented pianists. This is what our industry calls for and we have the necessary resources to take care of our numerous clients successfully.
Which of your musicians will be performing for our event?
We internally select the musicians within our group that will perform on each specific instrument for your event based upon your chosen instrumention and/or your song choices. As experts and award winning professionals in our field, this is our process. The musicians within our band/orchestra that will be performing for your wedding or event are in our videos, pictures, and sound samples on our website.
